About Us


Dreamcatcher Stationery is a woman-owned, small business based in Northern Virginia. Teaira Abston established the company in 2015 after rediscovering her passion for print design and creating all the stationery for her very own wedding in August 2014. Teaira's experience as a Graphic Designer allows her to create beautifully crafted stationery for practically any occasion. She specializes in wedding stationery such as invitations, save the dates, and other coordinating pieces. Her philosophy is to provide excellent customer service and custom stationery to match the look, feel, and ambiance of your special occasion for an affordable price!

General Questions

Do you customize stationery?
Absolutely! We would love to hear your vision and work with you to tie your theme into your stationery. Review our customization process for how to get started.
What kind of printing techniques do you offer?
We offer several specialty printing options.
What are your paper/cardstock options?
We have several paper options to choose from such as savoy cotton, shimmery metallics, and more, which have varying weights. Just like our invitation style options, the paper options are vast; however, we can help you pair your paper with the best printing technique.
What color inks do you offer?
Our book and online collections have specialty ink options based on invitation designs. We can share that information with you during your consultation. Custom designs offer a little more flexibility.
How will we communicate during this process?
We like to make this part of the process as easy as possible. Each client is given a one-on-one initial complimentary consultation via whatever medium you like. We prefer to sit down with you in person to get to know you, but we understand that doesn’t always work. No worries; phone calls and SKYPE consultations are always options. Email communication will also be a primary form of communication for record keeping purposes; however, we are very flexible and understand that personal interaction is key!
Do you offer samples?
Yes, we offer samples to ensure you are getting the best paper for your product and using the printing technique that you desire! Samples fees vary by product, but we highly recommend ordering samples if you are not comfortable viewing digital proofs.
What other items do you offer for my dream day?
Save the dates, menu cards, place cards, napkins, thank you cards, etc. Ask about our “brand my wedding” option.

Placing an Order

How do I place an order?
Currently all order requests are taken in person (perhaps during your consultation) or via email. Please send your requests to info@dreamcatcherstationery.com and a representative will contact you within 48 hours.
What is your booking and payment policy?
A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required when ordering. The balance is due upon your final approval of the item. After the final payment is accepted we will hand deliver or ship the products to you. All payments will be handled via PayPal.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Production timelines vary depending on your order. Custom stationery typically takes about is 4 to 6 weeks for complete production (idea/concept to deliver).

Carlson Craft stationery estimated production times is approximately 7 to 10 business days. Additional production time is needed for large quantity order, orders with photographs, items that are out-of-stock.
Will I be able to review my order before it prints?
Of course! During the personalization process, each product goes through a Designer Review stage in which we check each item for accuracy including things such as punctuation and grammar. If we have questions, we will contact you to work out the kinks. We will also provide you with a digital proof of your item to review before printing.
What is the cost of shipping?
Shipping rates vary depending on your location. Please contact us for additional information.
